Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Egg Mixture : In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Soak the Bread : Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, coating both sides but not letting it soak too long to prevent sogginess.
  3. Cook the French Toast : Heat a pan over medium heat and melt a little butter. Cook each slice for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Serve : Stack the French toast and drizzle with maple syrup. Optionally, sprinkle powdered sugar or add fresh fruits.
Thick slices of bread dipped in an egg mixture, placed on a baking tray, and baked to a crispy golden brown.

Tips for the Best French Toast:

Use slightly stale bread—it absorbs the egg mixture better without becoming too soggy. For even cooking, dip the bread quickly rather than soaking it too long. Cook over medium heat to achieve a golden-brown crust without burning. If making a large batch, keep cooked slices warm in a low-temperature oven until ready to serve. Enjoy with your favorite toppings for a delightful breakfast experience!
