This simple yet nutritious breakfast is perfect for a quick and satisfying start to your day!

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of bread (whole wheat, white, or sourdough)
  • Butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Eggs
    • Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
    • Gently add the eggs and cook:
      • Soft-boiled: 6 minutes
      • Medium-boiled: 8 minutes
      • Hard-boiled: 10–12 minutes
    • Once done, transfer the eggs to ice water for easy peeling.
  2. Prepare the Toast
    • Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
    • Spread butter if desired.
  3. Serve
    • Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
    • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    • Serve with toast on the side.

Tips for the Best Boiled Eggs:

  • Use a timer to get your preferred yolk consistency.
  • Place eggs in ice water immediately after boiling for easy peeling.
  • Sprinkle with a pinch of paprika or herbs for extra flavor!
