Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 2 slices of bread (whole wheat, white, or sourdough)
- Butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Boil the Eggs
- Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- Gently add the eggs and cook:
- Soft-boiled: 6 minutes
- Medium-boiled: 8 minutes
- Hard-boiled: 10–12 minutes
- Once done, transfer the eggs to ice water for easy peeling.
- Prepare the Toast
- Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
- Spread butter if desired.
- Serve
- Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Serve with toast on the side.
