Grilled Cheese Sandwich:

A timeless comfort food, the grilled cheese sandwich is the perfect combination of crispy, buttery bread and gooey, melted cheese. Simple yet satisfying, it can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a warm bowl of tomato soup for the ultimate cozy meal. Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, Swiss, or your favorite)
  • 1–2 tbsp butter (softened)

Instructions:

  1. Butter the Bread: Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich: Place one slice of bread (butter side down) in a skillet over medium heat. Add cheese slices on top, then place the second slice of bread on top (butter side up).
  3. Grill the Sandwich: Cook for about 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip carefully and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the other side is crispy and the cheese is fully melted.
  4. Serve & Enjoy: Remove from the skillet, let it cool slightly, then slice and enjoy!
