Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Overnight Oats

A delicious and indulgent way to start your day!

A creamy, indulgent breakfast treat with peanut butter and dark chocolate — the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth while staying healthy!

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional, for added texture and nutrition)
  • ½ cup milk (any kind: almond, cow’s, oat, etc.)
  • ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, chia seeds, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
    • Stir everything together until well combined. Make sure the peanut butter is fully incorporated into the mixture.
  2. Add the Chocolate:
    • Stir in the dark chocolate chips or chopped pieces of dark chocolate. This will add little pockets of melty chocolate throughout the oats.
  3. Refrigerate:
    • Cover the jar or container and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soak up the liquid and soften.
  4. Serve:
    • In the morning, give the oats a quick stir. If you’d like, add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
    • Top with extra dark chocolate, a dollop of peanut butter, or a sprinkle of chopped peanuts if you’d like to enhance the flavors.

Tips & Variations :

  • Add-ins: You can add banana slices, berries, or a drizzle of extra honey for a fun twist.
  • Vegan option: Use dairy-free yogurt and a plant-based milk to make this recipe vegan-friendly.
  • Texture preference: If you like thicker oats, you can add more chia seeds or reduce the liquid. If you prefer them runnier, just add more milk!
