Smoked Salmon Bagel:
This Smoked Salmon Bagel combines rich cream cheese, delicate smoked salmon, and a fresh bagel for a perfect, light breakfast or brunch treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 bagel (any variety – plain, sesame, everything, or whole grain)
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 3–4 slices of smoked salmon
- 1 tsp capers (optional)
- A few thin slices of red onion
- A few sprigs of fresh dill
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Toast the Bagel:
- Slice the bagel in half and toast it to your desired level of crispiness.
2. Prepare the Toppings:
- Spread cream cheese generously on each toasted bagel half.
- Layer the smoked salmon over the cream cheese.
- Add capers and red onion slices on top.
3. Garnish & Serve:
- Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
- Garnish with fresh dill and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Serve immediately with an extra lemon wedge on the side.
