Turkey & Cranberry Sandwich:

A festive twist on a classic, combining savory turkey with sweet cranberry sauce and fresh lettuce for crunch.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (whole wheat, sourdough, or your choice)
  • 100g (about 3.5 oz) sliced turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2-3 leaves of lettuce (romaine, butterhead, or mixed greens)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sandwich:
    • Spread cranberry sauce on one slice of bread.
    • Add a layer of sliced turkey breast on top of the cranberry sauce.
    • Place lettuce leaves on top of the turkey for crunch.
    • Spread mayonnaise or mustard on the second slice of bread (if using).
    • Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
  2. Serve & Enjoy:
    • Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately, or wrap for lunch.
