Turkey & Cranberry Sandwich:
A festive twist on a classic, combining savory turkey with sweet cranberry sauce and fresh lettuce for crunch.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (whole wheat, sourdough, or your choice)
- 100g (about 3.5 oz) sliced turkey breast
- 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 2-3 leaves of lettuce (romaine, butterhead, or mixed greens)
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or mustard (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sandwich:
- Spread cranberry sauce on one slice of bread.
- Add a layer of sliced turkey breast on top of the cranberry sauce.
- Place lettuce leaves on top of the turkey for crunch.
- Spread mayonnaise or mustard on the second slice of bread (if using).
- Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread.
